CHRISTIAN DE JESUS ( b. Malabon City, Philippines, 1983 )

“Be proud you are not somebody else!”

I’d always believe that when you love what you do, you will be fine. I was born in Malabon, 13th of September 1983. I graduated from Malabon Elementary School and Malabon National Highschool. I am an Independent Catholic (Aglipayano). I was raised in a very loving family. I have two lovely sisters and wonderful parents. Art has always captivated me even when I was still a small kid. I always knew that I would be taking my course in that field.

Buklod Sining Art Organization has been a big part of my college life in UE CFA. I have gained many friends and enjoyed many activities through my beloved Organization and College. I am more than thankful that I graduated Magnacumlaude of our batch. I am fascinated with animation, museums, history and fashion. I’m currently a junior designer for a fashion retail brand.

I also had a great opportunity to teach in UE under the College of Fine Arts for two semesters and under the College of Arts and Sciences for 3 semesters. It was the best two years of my life. I have learned more than just art but life in general through teaching, for in teaching… we learn.

“What office is there which involves more responsibility, which requires more qualifications, and which ought, therefore, to be more honorable than teaching?” -Harriet Martineau
